AROUND THE WORLD AND BACK AGAIN

New feature, Hounds! Every Friday AROUND THE WORLD AND BACK AGAIN is going to introduce you to the larger than life travels of our very own Tazi Phillips. Tazi will be embarking on a five-month trip to South East Asia, working with some incredible organizations and updating us on the work that she does and her travel experiences.

But we'll let Tazi do the talking.

Hello Hounds!

As some of you may have heard already, at the end of November I will be journeying on a five-month trip to South East Asia.  I will be basing myself in Indonesia, where I have spent a lot of time in the past, as well as planning several side trips to Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam, and hopefully making it back across the Indian Ocean to Australia and New Zealand. I’ll be missing all of my pups! The Urban Hound has been such a great experience – one that I plan to continue when I get back to the U.S. – and I truly love getting to hang out daily with all of my canine companions.

ASK THE TRAINER!

Every week, hounds, our Ask the Trainer feature will allow you to address your pressing training needs and questions with our very own Nick Miller. This first week, Nick introduces himself!

Hi Everyone! I can’t tell you how excited I am to get a weekly training feature going for the Urban Hound Blog.

As a lot of you know my experience and education with dogs is varied: from the many dogs I had growing up, to my time spent learning with Cesar Milan as well as my formal education and practice with the National K-9 School for Dog Trainers and The Olde Towne School for Dogs.

I am truly looking forward to using my wealth of experience to helping you and would officially like to announce the question session (that’s your part!) open. To ask a question, please contact me through the blog, Facebook, Twitter, or the Urban Hound email! I will take the time to answer and discuss any dog related questions that you might have.

Look forward to hearing from you!

Nick
