My 2011 Resolutions

Happy New Year, Hounds!

2010 turned out to be quite a bit different than I had expected, but as they say, what doesn't kill you just makes you stronger. And I honestly feel stronger than I have ever felt! We have had our share of setbacks with the hotel and daycare, but our positive thinking has paid off and we are finally closing in on an opening date. The progress is amazing, and I look forward to sharing photos with you to keep you up to date on the progress until we have our grand opening.

I have made myself commit to several new years resolutions, ones which I believe are healthy and important for me to keep. With the stress of the construction I have neglected the blog, which I promise I will be back on in full force. It is a great way to keep clients, friends and family up to date, and I promise to be better at doing it!

I have also promised to keep myself in check in regards to balance, and what is important in life. With the stress of the buildout I have neglected myself in terms of exercise and keeping healthy. My greatest love is being outdoors each and everday with the dogs, and I have made a promise to myself to do just that - be outside hiking, running, walking everyday. With that comes an invitation to each and every one of you to join me. I will keep you updated as to where Lou and I will be while we are out exploring, and I would love to have you join us.

This weeknds activities included hiking and snowshoeing in the Fells. I must say, it was fantastic! The trails are crisp and clean with lots of white snow, and Lou had a blast. We did a 5 mile hike day one and a 7 mile snowshoe the next day. And I feel like a million bucks! Next weekend, the Blue Hills. Any takers???
