The Urban Hound loves The Polka Dog Bakery!
As a South End staple (they now have a new store in Jamaica Plain!) for the last eight years, the bakery is a full service pet supply and treat company. They use only the finest ingredients, backing and preparing all their treats by hand and they manufacture nationwide.
Of course, The Polka Dog Bakery is owned by dog lovers and is a direct tribute to their dog Pearl, who is no longer with us, but continues to be their inspiration. Their stores keeps Pearl’s memory alive and practices the idea that our dogs are not accessories but companions and our relationship with them is all about nutrition and wellness.
And now, the Urban Hound is so proud to announce their collaboration with the bakery! “I trust Rebecca’s brand,” says Polka Dog owner, Rob, “We compliment each other really well.” You’ll be able to see and buy the Polka Dog Bakery treats in the Hotel & Daycare, specific to the Urban Hound name. And get this - we’re the first place in the South End to sell the Polka Dog treats!
