And me? Well, where to begin? I grew up in the farmlands of New Hampshire with every animal you can imagine. Really. Cats? I can name all 15. Dogs? As a toddler, I was always on the back of my Newfoundland, Eddie. And I remember so clearly the day my mom and dad brought Tippy home - my first mutt, sealing my fate for the love of all dogs - especially those that have their family lines crossed a bit more than others. A lamb named Baby. Frogs that I would dress in Barbie clothes. My bunnies Violet and Bubba. Benjamin, my three-legged mutt. I could go on and on.

So, here I am today. After quite a bit of soul searching, I have come to the conclusion that I just need to do what really makes me happy. And regardless of how many other things I have tried, I always come back to dogs. I love them. I love their ears, and the way you can see how they actually hear what you are saying, even if they choose to ignore it. I love the way their feet smell like Fritos. I love that every one is just so incredibly different, yet all have the same unconditional love for their owners. I love being greeted by them when I come into their homes to walk them- and how they know that they are going to go out and have a great time.

So yes, this is my calling….. what I should be doing every day. And nothing has made me happier. So I welcome you to the urban hound. And I hope that your dog has the same wonderful experience with me that my current customers have. And if not, at least I know they will tell me.
